Mira One is a preventive and interpretive health platform. Our Reports and recommendations are informational and educational in nature. They do not constitute medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, or emergency care advice.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- Mira One Reports are designed to support informed health decisions, not to replace professional medical judgement.
- You are strongly advised to consult a qualified physician or specialist before acting on any Mira One recommendations.
- Pharmacogenomics (PGX) insights are guidance tools only and do not constitute prescriptions or dosage instructions.
- Genetic findings are probabilistic in nature; they do not guarantee future health outcomes.
- Mira One is not intended for use in emergency or urgent medical situations. In any medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
By using the Services, You represent and warrant that:
- You are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; OR, where Services are intended for a person under 18, your parent or legal guardian is the contracting party, accepts these Terms on your behalf, and has provided verifiable consent under our Privacy Policy.
- All information you provide to Mira One is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- You understand and consent to the genetic, blood, and urine testing processes involved.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
Minors:
Where Services are accessed on behalf of a minor, the parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for compliance with these Terms and for all decisions made in reliance on the Report. Mira One's handling of a minor's data is governed by its Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act 2023.
- Blood and urine samples will be collected at a location convenient to you by a trained phlebotomist or at a partner collection centre.
- Genetic samples (buccal swab or blood-based) may be physically processed at accredited laboratories in India or, where equivalent capability is unavailable in India, at international laboratories. In all cases, the resulting digital data is stored on Indian infrastructure as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You agree to follow all sample collection, handling, and shipping protocols, if any, communicated to you at the time of scheduling.
Mira One takes reasonable care over the sample chain; however, Mira One is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by logistics partner disruptions, force majeure events, or customs processing for international samples.
- Sample degradation resulting from improper storage or handling by you or logistics partners outside Mira One's direct control.
- Incomplete or unanalyzable samples due to insufficient volume or contamination.
Where a sample is lost or irrecoverably degraded due to a cause within Mira One's control or that of its contracted laboratory, Mira One will arrange a re-collection at no additional cost to you.
If a Report cannot be generated due to sample failure attributable to Mira One or its laboratory partner, you will be offered one complimentary re-collection. If sample failure is attributable to you (e.g., incorrect fasting, improper handling), re-collection will be offered at a discounted rate as communicated at the time.
Standard report timelines are a minimum of 6 (six) weeks from the date of successful blood and/or urine sample collection. This timeline may vary depending on:
- Laboratory processing complexity and quality control requirements.
- Sample quality issues requiring additional processing.
- External logistics, international shipment, or customs clearance.
Service Level Commitments:
- Mira One will communicate an estimated delivery date at the time of service initiation.
- If Your Report is delayed beyond 12 (twelve) weeks from sample collection for reasons within Mira One's control, you may contact our support team for a status update and, if delays persist beyond 16 (sixteen) weeks, you may request a full refund.
- Mira One will notify you proactively if a delay is anticipated.
Your Report is generated using:
- Results of your blood, urine, and/or WES genetic analysis.
- Current peer-reviewed scientific evidence and established clinical guidelines.
- Population-level data and probabilistic models validated by our clinical team.
You acknowledge:
- Genetic findings indicate probabilities, not certainties, and scientific understanding evolves over time. Mira One may, at its discretion, update or annotate your Report as significant new evidence emerges.
- PGX drug response insights are intended to inform discussions with your prescribing physician and do not replace a physician's clinical judgement.
- Biomarker reference ranges are population-based and individual variation is expected. An out-of-range result does not alone constitute a diagnosis.
Report Accuracy & Correction:
If you believe your Report contains a factual inaccuracy attributable to a laboratory or sequencing error, you may raise a dispute within 60 (sixty) days of receipt. Mira One will investigate and, where an error is confirmed, will provide a corrected Report at no charge and at the earliest practicable time.
Mira One provides:
- Pre-test counselling: to help you understand the nature, scope, and limitations of the testing before you proceed.
- Post-test results consultation: to help you interpret your Report findings in a meaningful context.
These sessions are educational and supportive in nature. They are not a substitute for ongoing medical care, psychiatric counselling, specialist referral, or clinical treatment. Mira One counsellors are not acting as your treating physicians.
- Full payment is required prior to service initiation.
- Prices are inclusive of applicable GST, unless stated otherwise.
- Mira One reserves the right to revise pricing with 30 (thirty) days' notice for new bookings.
